Ich-Ag ("You Inc.")
You-Inc. was part of the exhibition at the Ceramic Biennal Kapfenberg 2011.
It shows two figures with neglect by solitude written on their faces. "Everyone for themselves" is what the spirit of the times says and this demand is exactly what makes these figures look so spooky. Their insides, their needs, their suffering is there for all to see, yet, as with the statues of the saints in church, we are afraid to touch them. Their suffering has that other-worldly feel to it, making the entire scene tragic-comical. It is suffering as a trophy without even having any kind of stimulative nature on the beholder to become active.
